Northern Industrial Hygiene, Inc.
Northern was formed to
provide the highest quality asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor
air quality, industrial hygiene, laboratory and environmental
services available in the states of Montana, Washington and
Wyoming. By providing these services through locally owned
and based operations we are able to apply the knowledge and
skills we have gained in the Pacific Northwest and the Rocky
Mountain region while maintaining the benefit of our services in
the local communities.
Our staff includes professional engineers, environmental
scientists, trained and accredited technicians, CADD drafters,
laboratory personnel, and support staff. Our personnel are
experienced and have received specialized training as mold
inspectors, asbestos inspectors, management planners, and
abatement designers, lead abatement contractor/supervisors, and
lead inspectors/risk assessors. Technicians performing air
monitoring at asbestos abatement projects have received NIOSH
582E training. Mold inspectors are qualified to
perform residential and commercial mold inspections. Staff members have
extensive experience performing Phase I and II Environmental
Site Assessments. Many of our personnel have also received
40 hours of training as required under OSHA's Hazardous Waste
Operations and Emergency Response standard.
Our offices have an
interdisciplinary staff specializing in a variety of technical
areas including asbestos management services, lead-based paint
services, industrial hygiene indoor air quality, and conducting
Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments. We also
have capabilities to support our projects through the use of
computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) and are accessible
through the Internet.
Our offices are located in
downtown Billings, MT; Helena, MT; and Seattle,
WA. All four offices are located near and are easily
accessible from major interstate highways.
Northern provides clients
complete professional liability insurance coverage with limits
of $2,000,000 available to our clients.
